My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you navigate your own healing and self-discovery.
I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work in 2012 and have worked in a variety of capacities supporting children, families, and adults since then. Some of my experiece includes working in child welfare, community mental health, and home based therapy as well as advanced training and experience in a wide range of trauma work. Prior to obtaining my Master’s, I had internships in clinical research as well as working with disabled children and their families.
Currently, my clinical focus is on one-on-one psychotherapy with adults via telehealth.
Outside of therapy, you can find me enjoying my dogs (who you might see in therapy from time to time), gardening, bird watching, gaming, crocheting, and making jewelry. I love nature and find it so helpful as a tool for grounding and being present in our connection with other living things.
I am passionate about working with those who are reclaiming their lives after authoritative and dogmatic systems have failed and traumatized them. This passion is in part from my own lived experience in reclaiming identity and reconstructing after experiencing religious trauma.
